When choosing a sunscreen, I first look for a product that is as non-toxic and as free of artificial fragrances/substances as possible. I feel that Blue Lizard is the best product on the market and my dermatologist seconds that opinion.
Hope I am entering the contest correctly! What I look for 1st in a sunscreen I will be totally honest that I used to just pick one up at the grocery store! Never knowing there was a difference. I just became aware from a friend who works for a dermatologist about the differences. She recommended Blue Lizard ! And recommened a physical block vs a chemical block! So, now that is what I look for! Thanks for offering the contest and sure hope I am the lucky winner!
I want a sunscreen that stays on my skin even when I perspire moderately.
I also need a sunscreen that’s above 20 SPF & is a broad spectrum formula. Of course, that is non-irritant to my skin.
In all honesty, what I look for in a sunscreen is Blue Lizard. My brother-in-law, who works in the skin care industry, told me that the dermatologists he works with recommend Blue Lizard for their patients with sensitive skin. Two of my kids are allergic to fragrance and some chemicals found in other sunscreens. We tried Blue Lizard and there were no reactions. We will search high and low for Blue Lizard, order it on-line if need be, and tell everyone how wonderful the product is. In addition to the lack of skin reaction in causes, I also look for a sunscreen to stay on and be protective even in vigorous water play. Blue Lizard is really the best I have found and we really count on it for summer fun.
The main things I look for in a sunscreen is zinc and titanium dioxide. They are the best at blocking the rays. Also I want the sunscreen to blend easily and not be thick, blue lizard does that
A sunscreen that protects well, is good on sensitive skin and can be used by the whole family – baby included. Baby Lizard fits the bill!
The first thing I look for in a sunscreen is what’s in it. I want a mineral sunscreen and one that contains high concentrations of titanium dioxid and zinc oxide. I used to use the chemical sunscreens but after reading more about them, I’m uncomfortable about applying them to my skin.

I look for sunscreens that look and feel good on the skin. You won’t want to use a sunscreen daily if it feels gross or makes you look shiney or white. And you should be using a sunscreen daily, so that is why it is an important factor.

I look at the ingredients – specifically for zinc. I DO NOT want a chemical coctail for a sunblock!

The first thing I look for in a sunscreen is a high level of zinc oxide because I know it is a good sunscreen ingredient.
